I'm Jo, the founder of EveryStoryMyStory. As a dyslexic LGBTQIA+ writer, I've faced my share of struggles, from writer's block to rejection. But I've also experienced the joy of publishing, with highlights including two invitations to Varuna, the National Writers House, and The Iceland Writers Retreat Alumni Award.
I'm on a mission to inspire and encourage 1,000 writers to publish by 2025 through my online community, providing resources, support, and tools for every writer to succeed. Let's increase diversity in literature and celebrate every writer's success, including my own publications in anthologies, Time, Mashable, USA Today, Scary Mommy and more.
